BO Motor (Dual Shaft, Yellow)

Put your robotics projects in motion with the iconic yellow gear motor. The Dual Shaft BO Motor (often referred to as a TT motor) is the undisputed standard for introductory wheeled robotics. By pairing a fast-spinning micro DC motor with a built-in plastic reduction gearbox, it converts raw speed into usable pushing power, allowing your robots to carry batteries, sensors, and chassis plates with ease.

As an IIT Bhubaneswar-incubated tech ecosystem, XROBOTICS WORKS includes these exact motors in almost all of our foundational 2WD and 4WD rover kits. The dual-shaft design is incredibly versatile—it allows you to easily snap on standard plastic wheels on one side and an encoder disk on the other for advanced speed tracking. Operating flawlessly on anywhere from 3V to 12V (with 6V being the sweet spot), this motor can be driven directly by a standard L298N or L293D motor driver shield. Highly durable, incredibly easy to mount with its pre-drilled body holes, and completely beginner-friendly, it is the foundational muscle for your composite skill lab automation projects.
