At X Gen AI (an initiative by XRobotics Works Pvt. Ltd.), we strive to ensure you receive high-quality STEM kits, robotics components, and AI hardware. Given the sensitive nature of electronic components, we have a strict yet fair return and refund policy to protect both our customers and our business.
By purchasing from xgenai.in, you agree to the following terms.
1. Return Window and Eligibility
- 7-Day Return Window: You can initiate a return within 7 days of the delivery date. If 7 days have passed since your purchase was delivered, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
- Eligible Reasons: Returns are accepted only if the product delivered is defective, dead on arrival (DOA), damaged in transit, or incorrect (different from what you ordered).
- Condition of Items: To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, in the exact same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging along with all included accessories, manuals, and parts.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the technical nature of our catalog, the following items cannot be returned unless they are proven to be defective upon arrival:
- Bare electronic components (e.g., ICs, resistors, capacitors, jumper wires) that have been used, soldered, or physically altered.
- Products damaged due to incorrect voltage, reverse polarity, improper handling, or short circuits caused by the user.
- Consumables (e.g., 3D printer filaments once opened, batteries, adhesives, tapes).
- Customized AI kits, 3D printed parts, or bulk institutional orders (which are subject to their specific SLA agreements).
3. The Return Procedure
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product, please follow these steps:
- Raise a Request: Contact our support team immediately at accounts@xroboticsworks.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your Order ID and a clear description of the issue.
- Provide Proof (Mandatory): Attach an unboxing video and clear photographs of the damaged or defective product. An unboxing video is highly recommended for all electronics purchases to process claims quickly.
- Tech Verification: Our technical team will review your request. We may contact you to troubleshoot the issue remotely to confirm if the product is genuinely faulty.
- Ship it Back: Upon approval, we will either arrange a return pickup or ask you to ship the product back to our warehouse. If you are asked to ship it, we will reimburse standard shipping costs upon final verification of the defect.
4. Refund Policy
- Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Full Refunds: A 100% refund (including original shipping costs) will be issued if the return is approved for a defective, damaged, or incorrect product.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to your original method of payment (Credit Card, UPI, or Bank Account) within 3 to 5 working days.
5. Order Cancellation
- Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order at no cost if it has not yet been shipped (orders are usually dispatched within 12-24 hours). Please email us immediately with your Order ID to request a cancellation.
- After Dispatch: Once an order has been handed over to our courier partners and tracking details have been generated, the order cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. If you refuse delivery, you will still be responsible for the shipping costs incurred.
6. Warranty Coverage
- Certain proprietary X Gen AI bundles or specific branded hardware (e.g., 3D Printers, official Arduino boards) may come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty. This covers manufacturing defects only.
- Warranty Void If: The product shows signs of physical damage, water/moisture damage, unauthorized repairs, improper storage, or damage resulting from incorrect electrical connections by the customer.
