Move beyond basic spinning and take total control over your degrees of rotation. The 28BYJ-48 Stepper Motor is an essential actuator for projects where precision matters more than raw speed. Unlike standard DC motors that spin continuously, a stepper motor moves in distinct, programmable “steps.” Thanks to its internal reduction gearbox, this 5V motor requires roughly 2,048 steps to complete a single full revolution, giving you incredible, granular control over its exact physical position.
As an IIT Bhubaneswar-incubated tech ecosystem, XROBOTICS WORKS utilizes this exact stepper motor combination to teach advanced manufacturing and automation concepts. It is the absolute core hardware for B.Tech and PM Shri Lab projects like automated pet feeders, smart window blinds, robotic camera sliders, and foundational CNC drawing machines. Because stepper motors require specific sequencing to fire their internal electromagnets, we include the ULN2003 Motor Driver Board in this kit. This plug-and-play module translates simple digital signals from your Arduino or ESP32 directly into the 4-phase power required to turn the motor, making complex mechatronics highly accessible.

Works fine for simple demos, but the gear reduction makes it too slow for anything fast. Also, it’s noisy as heck. 🤫

Arrived quickly and as described I am satisfied with my purchase – many thanks

Okay for beginners, but the documentation is zero. No clear code examples or pinouts. Had to Google everything. Not beginner-friendly. 🤦♂️

fast shipping. great communication. just as described

perfect done, fast shipment, excellent quality, wonderful, thank you very much 5 STARS * * * * *

Good quality and very handy for my small projects

It’s small and cute, but the step accuracy is off. My project keeps misaligning. Maybe not reliable for robotics. 🤔

I have already tested one unit with the Arduino Uno Stepper library. Everything functioned perfectly. The units are very well made and came in a nice box very neatly packaged.

Good motors, great price. The gearing gives slow speed (about 15rpm maximum), but very high torque. I love that I can try these out in a variety of circuits and not worry too much if I burn one.

Yeah they’re just stepper motors but in addition to the great price for five of them they came in a nice plastic snap lid case. Nice!!!

Got it for a school project. Works with Arduino, but the ULN2003 board overheats fast. Needed a heatsink after 10 mins. 🥲
